De Balie is
located on the Kleine-Gartmanplantsoen 10, which is connected to the
Leidseplein in the center of Amsterdam.

De Balie can be easily reached by
public transport. Trams run until approx. 00:00 am.
From Central Station
you enter tram 1, 2 or 5 and get out at
the stop Leidseplein. De Balie is facing the City movie theatre directly.
From Amsterdam-West
enter tram 10 and get out at the stop
Leidseplein.
From Amsterdam-Zuid
enter tram 5 or 24 in the direction of
Central Station. With tram 24, you need to change for the 10, 6 or 7 at
Weteringcircuit.
From Amsterdam-Oost
enter tram 10,7 or 6 and get out at the
Leidseplein.
It is not advised to take the car into
the center of Amsterdam (high parking fees and traffic), but if you do,
there is a parking facility at Byzantium, the Nassuakade, the Museumplein
and at the Raamplein.
Coming from Zaandam/Alkmaar
On the ringweg A10 take exit S106, go
left into the center, and over Surinameplein, straight, cross the bridge and
then left, follow the tramline, go to the end of the Overtoom, and then
right to the Nassaukade, immediately to the left and you are on the
Leidseplein.
Coming from Haarlem
On the ringweg take exit S103
(Haarlemmerweg), go straight until you have passed the Westerpark and then,
at the traffic lights at the Nassauplein turn left, follow the waterside,
after approx. 10 minutes you get to a T-crossing and on the left side a
little park, turn left and you are on the Leidseplein.
Coming from Leiden/Den Haag
Coming from the Schipholtunnel, enter
A10 direction of Zaandam, exit at S106, from here the same as coming from
Zaandam/Alkmaar
Coming from Lelystad/Amersfoort
On the ringweg A10 direction Den Haag
take exit S110, direction of Amsterdam center, cross the Utrechtsebrug, turn
right and follow the Amsteldijk until you cannot proceed, turn left onto the
Stadhouderskade, pass the Rijksmuseum at your left, and when you see a
little park at your right hand, turn right, you are at the Leidsplein.
